Lecture Committee
What is the committee?
Are you passionate about having Oakland’s stories told? The Lecture Committee works to create a platform for community members to tell their stories and to create a space for members to learn more about our community. We organize presentations and building tours on Zoom or in person.
Volunteering
The committee is always looking for volunteers to help with various tasks. If one of these tasks suits you, please contact us!
Lecturers. Do you have a topic or subject you want to share to our members? Let us know and we can bring in a crowd to celebrate the work you do.
Greeters. Do you like greeting members and checking them into our in-person events? Join us and attend the lecture free!
Film Recorders. Do you like the tech side of events? Contact us if you would like to assist in recording or editing the film of our live events.
How do connect with the committee?
Please email info@oaklandheritage.org to get connected to the committee.
