Tour Leader: Kathryn (Kitty) Hughes is a longtime member and Board member of OHA. She served as Oakland’s first Bicycle Program manager in the Public Works Agency. Since retiring she has enjoyed researching and writing about Oakland history. She recently published an article about Gertrude Stein’s Oakland and she has a forthcoming article on Aurelia Reinhardt’s career.
